 1 is the sample diluent (culture fluid) storage tube, 2 is the first adapter, 3 is the valve stem of the first adapter, 4 is the sampling swab, 5 is the sample processing tube, 6 is the second adapter, 7 is the valve stem of the second adapter, 8 is the tail sleeve.

【Steps】

1. Unscrew the buckle of sample diluent (culture fluid) storage tube and the sample processing tube, remove the sampling swab;

2. Sampling by swab, swabs would be back into the sample processing tube as soon as possible after sampling, so that the sample processing tube and the sample diluent (culture fluid) storage tube in the buckle tightly (see the point of buckle in schematic of Figure 2);

3. Make the device vertical and keep the sample diluent (broth) storage tube upward;

  (If not tested immediately, samples can be stored at room temperature for 4 to 6 hours, or refrigerated (2 to 8 ° C) for 24 to 72 hours and stored for up to 6 months at -20 ° C. Samples are returned to room temperature before testing. Do not thaw more than once.)

4.Break the stem of the adapter 1 (refer to "Broken place 1" in schematic 2) across the wall of the sample diluent (culture fluid) storage tube and squeeze the storage tube to allow the sample diluent to flow into the bottom of the sample processing tube. Wet the end of the sampling swab (full prefilled diluent allows the end of sampling swab completely submerged);

5. Squeeze the outer wall of sample processing tube repeatedly, make the sample release into the sample diluent fully.

6.Put the device upside down with the tail sleeve facing up and break the stem of the adapter 2 (refer to "Broken place 2" in schematic 2) across the tail sleeve. 

7. Make the device vertical and keep the sample diluent (broth) storage tube upward remove the tail sleeve and squeeze the outer wall of the processing tube so that liquid drops out for further experiments.

8. When the liquid drops out to an end, put on the tail sleeve to prevent the sample from polluting the environment.

 

It is suitable for collection, preservation and treatment of clinical gynecological vaginal and cervical secretions.
